As part of our EUREKA chairmanship, Innovate UK are hosting an international 3-day innovation conference, the EUREKA Global Innovation Summit 2019 which is taking place in the UK from the 14 to 16 May 2019, at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.

The EUREKA Global Innovation Summit 2019 welcomes businesses from all sectors to benefit from unique insights into international funding, collaboration, and investment.

This is a free to attend event where you will receive practical advice on scale-up, pitching and valuable forecasting across topics ranging from the identity of the next disruptors to the future trends in manufacturing.

What is the event focus?

The event has been themed around the four grand challenges of the UK’s Industrial Strategy which are:

  1. Artificial intelligence and data
  2. Ageing society
  3. Clean growth
  4. Future of mobility

Leading policymakers will give their predictions for each sector and the opportunities for businesses. In addition to this, there will be sessions for other key sectors such as Agriculture and Manufacturing.

The discussions will cover the four industrial strategy areas along with the following themes:

  • global collaboration: benefits, tools and networking – meet your future partners
  • scaling up: insight into investment and funding - hear from investors and successful entrepreneurs
  • learning: expert advice, skills acquisition & knowledge gathering - hear from big business and funders about where they see future trends
